The Five Mile Beef

The Five Mile Beef is a family-run regenerative ranch spanning an extraordinary 700,000 acres across Southern Utah and Nevada. Every animal is raised entirely on the ranch's own diverse native pastures — no outside sourcing, no feedlot finishing, no grain at any stage of life. The operation is described by the owners as 'beyond organic' in practice, though they've chosen not to pursue USDA Organic certification, believing their actual standards exceed what the label requires.

The ranch operates on regenerative principles: cattle rotate continuously across diverse pastures, sequestering carbon and preserving the natural hydrology of the high desert and basin-and-range terrain.
