Verde Farms

Verde Farms was founded with the mission of making 100% grass-fed beef widely accessible. Unlike many premium brands that ship direct only, Verde Farms has built national retail distribution placing their products in thousands of supermarkets. Their sourcing spans Uruguay, where the temperate climate supports year-round grass growth, Australia, and domestic US and North American farms.

In Uruguay, cattle graze on vast open pampas where the natural forage is rich and diverse. All cattle are raised without antibiotics or added hormones, and the beef carries the American Grassfed Association (AGA) certification for domestic products, verifying a grass-and-forage-only diet from weaning to harvest. The brand also has USDA Organic options on select items.

Verde Farms took early minority investment from private equity firm Manna Tree Partners in 2020, and Manna Tree took a controlling, majority stake in 2024; the brand and day-to-day operations have continued under that ownership. Verde Farms ground beef is particularly popular given its balance of quality, flavor, and competitive pricing compared to direct-to-consumer brands.
